CEU Course Description

AI Literacy in Elementary and Secondary Education provides K-12 teachers with the knowledge and strategies needed to navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of artificial intelligence (AI) in education. This course equips educators with the tools to build their own AI literacy, integrate AI-related topics into their curriculum, and prepare students for a future in which AI plays an increasingly prominent role. Educators will explore the fundamentals of AI, its applications in the classroom, and the ethical considerations surrounding its use. The course highlights the importance of teaching students to critically evaluate AI-generated content, recognize bias, and understand the broader societal implications of AI.
